Wildflower meadows and wild areas of your garden are hugely important for pollinating insects and other wildlife. RHS Rosemoor has several areas of established wildflower meadow, which will form the basis of this session.

You will learn about the wildflower meadows at Rosemoor as they approach their seasonal peak. We will look at how the meadows were created and how you could establish one at home, as well as learning about their annual maintenance routines and the tools involved. This session will also cover the benefits of a healthy meadow for people, plants and the planet, and how they can work to boost local biodiversity.

Please bring with you:
  • Your booking reference number
  • A notebook and pencil to make notes
  • Camera or mobile phone for photos if you wish
Please wear clothes and footwear suitable for the weather on the day.

Tutor: Alex Paines, RHS Garden Team
