Veronica
Common name: Gentian speedwell, prostrate speedwell, speedwell, Brooklime
Veronica are a versatile range of summer-flowering perennials. The taller plants make excellent border subjects with other perennials and ornamental grasses, while mat-forming ones are good for border edging, groundcover or a rockery. Native speedwells including V. spicata are useful for wild gardens, meadows and light woodland. And there's one aquatic, native wildflower Veronica beccabunga to grow along a pond margin.
