The expanded 2025 list now includes over 10,000 plants, with evidence-based plant choices to benefit all kinds of pollinators, from bees and butterflies to moths and hoverflies.
Using scientific evidence, our extensive experience and the records of gardeners and beekeepers, we’ve selected a range of year-round flowering Plants for Pollinators to help tackle the decline in pollinator numbers. The lists are reviewed by RHS scientists.
In July 2025, the lists were updated and relaunched following an extensive review that began in 2022. After a thorough evaluation of relevant research, changes were made to the lists. Some plants were removed while many more plant groups received a boost, resulting in many more plants being included than before. See details
