Festival of Houseplants with Green Rooms Market

Last year saw the first Festival of Houseplants take over the new Kildare Hall. A bustling marketplace selling unusual and interesting varieties of plants alongside pots, growing medium and everything you need to make your indoor garden thrive.

There were also talks, demonstrations and workshops where visitors could pick up tips from the experts.

Our talks theatres are hosted by well-known personalities and feature fascinating talks, daily demonstrations and question and answer sessions by experts. 

Visitors have the opportunity to learn from the professionals, ask questions and be inspired.

Indoor Plant Gardens

Following the success of the Festival of Houseplants, RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2025 will host eight gardens created using houseplants. 

Each design takes on a different brief and will be judged for a prestigious RHS medal.

Dog day

RHS Malvern Spring Festival is delighted to open its gates to our furry friends. On the last day of the Festival – Sunday 11 May 2025 – well-behaved dogs on short, fixed leads are welcome to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the Festival with their owners.

There are a limited number of ‘dog tickets’ available to book in advance (these can be added to your ticket order). Assistance dogs don’t require a ticket. TICKETS NOW SOLD OUT.

Delicious food and drink

RHS Malvern Spring Festival has a wide range of food and drink on offer around the showground.

• Garden Sheds – Escape from the hustle and bustle of the show and book yourself your own ‘Garden Shed’ for  breakfast, lunch or a cream tea. 

• Bluebell Bistro – Book a table for breakfast,  two-course lunch menu or a cream tea at RHS Malvern Spring Festival, courtesy of A to Zest.

  Members Lounge – RHS and Three Counties Members have access to their very own members area where they can purchase refreshments or lunch.

• Sample homemade and artisan products in the Food and Drink Pavilion, drop by Festival Green for flavourful street food or stop at the Vintage Tea Room for themed tea and cake.

There’s lots for families to do at the 2025 Festival. Free workshops include:

Willow weaving
Circus skills
Hands-on science
Paper flower making

Plus, learn all about soil and bees or go on a bug hunt and there’s lots of fun in the Discovery Dome, crafting pottery shakers or bird feeders, or join in with the performances of the Severn Arts Music Box.
